Will these trousers dye well to charcoal navy? Worried about polyester thread staying beige

I want to dye these trousers a deep charcoal navy / inky blue but I’m scared of ruining them.

There’s no material label, but they feel like cotton or cotton/linen (matte, slubby texture, wrinkle easily).

My biggest concern is the stitching - I assume it’s polyester and I really don’t want obvious beige thread left behind after dyeing.

Has anyone dyed trousers like this successfully?

Questions:
- Do these look like a good dye candidate?
- Is there any dye/process that gives the best chance of darkening BOTH fabric + thread?
- Would you do navy, charcoal, or blue-black to minimise contrast if the thread doesn’t fully dye?

I’m in the UK so product recommendations I can get on Amazon/locally would be amazing.

Help me find this dress :,)

Wondering if anyone recognises this as a specific Indian textile/wholesale style or knows where boutiques source dresses like this.

Saw this in a vintage store, but didn’t buy and now regretting it! label says “Prasada” but I can barely find online. There was no care label inside.

It’s a crinkled gauzy viscose fabric with a tie neckline, border-print sleeves, and feel like it’s made in India - and could be quite common, but I just don’t know how to find it! 🤞

Key points:
- it’s gauzy material, thin
- I love the neck detail at the top
- happy to find a top if it exists as that too, rather than a dress

Thanks! 💓
