Hello everyone,

I had a question about how writers and artists typically make arrangements for collaboration/ find one another. It seems like, at a glance here on reddit, most are "for hire" - in other words a paid rate for X amount of work completed. My question is , does anyone have experience finding an actual partner where you can make a contract to own a project 50/50 , even under a proper 50/50 LLC , and then collaborating from that starting point?

I would think this makes the most sense for both parties if the comic gets popular/ the IP earns money down the line. Any insight or thoughts appreciated!

BTW, currently developing a comic script from the writer side and will be seeking a partner in this soon!
