As the title says, I created a youtube channel almost 2 months ago and quickly got monetized and am honestly making decent money ($200 in first week). I want to reinvest into the channel with a good quality microphone.

My niche is poker vlogs in which I record my hands, but mute the table audio and record a voice over. So each episode is 30 minutes of just me talking. I'm not looking for voice tuning, just something that will capture clear high quality i can tranfer straight into my editing software.

I'm currently using a $20 walmart mic I bought years ago and it does not sound great.

Quick searches online reccomends Rode PodMic or elgato wave 3, but I'd love a second opinion before purchasing.
