What questions should we ask the breeder before putting down a deposit ?

We would be flying to pick up our BG so wondering what questions we should make sure to ask so we don’t miss anything important.. seems like there are some medical questions specific to this breed. Thank you!!

Can your Brussels griffon go up and down steps?

We are looking to adopt one but have steep steps in our house with carpet. Will the dog be able to go up and down on own?
