Need advice onmerging an AOL account with gmail

Hi all. I need advice on how to merge my husband's AOL email account with a gmail account. He is almost 80 and I am five years younger, so it has to be an easy explanation! I have been telling him for years to get rid of the AOL account, but he gets a lot of emails from organizations he belongs to, and he is afraid of losing the history of those emails. But it seems every time he tries to log into AOL, it doesn't recognize his password. Then he has to change his password every. single. time. I don't know if this is his problem or an AOL problem. It then involves codes, and they try to send an email to our house line. I wind up being the one trying to solve this issue and I am tired of it., especially since he didn't listen to me! He does have a gmail account he rarely uses. So I have read there is a way to merge an AOL email account to a gmail account, keeping all the old AOL emails, and then having AOL forward any future emails to the gmail address. Can someone explain it to me? I'm a little scared of it because I don't want to lose his old emails. Thanks! Reddit folks almost always solve our problems!

Please help a clueless elderly newbie!

Hello all. I am in the U.S. I am totally new to air purifiers. My 78-year-old-husband suffered terribly throughout the Spring with seasonal allergies, and, in fact, wound up in the hospital with bronchitis and breathing issues. I bought the Coway AP-1512HH Mighty Air Purifier with True HEPA and Eco Mode,16.8 x 18.3 x 9.6 for my living room, which is 14' x 17'. Amazon was having a great sale on black ones for some reason. I am an elderly newbie at all this is somewhat confusing to me. The accompanying literature was terrible, very poorly written, and didn't really give much advice on what the best settings are, etc. So, I turn to you all for advice!

I am not sure exactly what my husband is allergic to because he has been very stubborn about getting tested (that's about to change), but it is definitely pollen and probably dust and mold. The unit is in our living room, where my husband spends the vast portion of his day. Should we run it constantly when he is in the room? And at what speed? Below is a photo of the settings I have this on. Please, someone explain the ionizer setting! How often should I run that? Also, what do the Hepa button and Odor button do? I see that in our area in the U.S. Northeast grass pollen is very high today. He actually does think the unit has helped so far. We have a small unit whose brand I can't remember in our bedroom, dimensions about 12 x 16, which we are considering upgrading. Any and all advice you can give to a clueless newbie is most welcome! I thank you all in advance for your kindness
