Which UK medical schools are best if I’m seriously considering US residency?

I’m a UK student applying for Medicine and I’m currently deciding which medical schools to apply to. I’m seriously considering the possibility of eventually moving to the US and applying for residency there, potentially in anaesthesiology.

I already understand that I’d need to go through the USMLE/ECFMG process and that being a UK graduate makes me an IMG.

What I’m trying to work out is which UK medical schools give students the best opportunities to build a competitive US application, particularly through:
US clinical electives / placements
Partnerships with US medical schools or hospitals
VSLO access
Opportunities to obtain US clinical experience and potentially US LORs
Research opportunities and publications
Strong biomedical/clinical research environments
Anaesthetics and ICU exposure
International connections
Support or experience with students pursuing USMLE/US residency
Examples of graduates who have actually gone on to US residency

At the moment I’m particularly looking at Cambridge, Imperial, KCL, UCL, Edinburgh, Oxford and Manchester.
For anyone who has experience with the US pathway, which UK medical schools would you prioritise for this purpose, and why?

I’m especially interested in people who have actually gone through the process or are currently studying medicine in the UK and planning to apply to the US, rather than general opinions about university prestige.
