Grinding LC hard questions

Is there any point in doing Leetcode hards (other than standard ones like trapping rainwater) ? The range of difficulty in the hards itself is pretty large, making some questions not appropriate for an interview at all. Is grinding LC hards purely a waste of time for interview prep ?

Is this enough for big tech loops ?

I have been grinding leetcode lately and wondering how much preparation is enough. I hear mixed opinions from people, some say leetcode mediums are enough, and some say hards are must these days. Below are my leetcode stats so far, and I am wondering if I should pull the trigger and start interviewing. The other option is to grind LC for few more months till I get comfortable solving hard problems too.

Leetcode contest rating : 1901 (Knight)

Total questions solved : 956 (138 Easy, 665 Medium, 153 Hard)

Can consistently solve Q1-3 in contests, struggle with Q4s often.

Google L4 prep

Currently able to solve most medium problems (google tagged), now wondering how I should proceed. Should I be solving hard tagged google problems from last 6 months ? This list includes some pretty nasty questions, wondering if solving this list is the right approach. This is for US. I keep reading mixed opinions, some say mediums are enough, and some say hards are must.
