For those who had SMP removed with laser
How many treatments did you do until you saw it completely gone, particularly at the hairline? And what point did you personally notice fading? I’ve read 6-8 weeks for anything substantial but curious.
I had a Picoway treatment done yesterday. My SMP is about 2.5 yrs old just at the scalp, it’s not oversaturated and is quite light but hairline is far too low for a natural looking age appropriate hair transplant (about 1 cm off from where it should be). The hairline was made close to my frown lines on my forehead. I actually was happy with it while I had it but need it gone to avoid a double hairline 😂.
My laser tech who has actually done botch jobs said he anticipated one session due to it being light and the size of the area but curious of people’s experiences. My skin is darker so it was also recommended to be a bit conservative with this process to avoid hypopigmentation. Thanks.
