3rd session results.
FIRST picture is right after I got the session done, and the rest are about 10 days healed. I’m a couple weeks healed now so I’ll post more and better pics soon. Let me know what yall think. Shoutout to TopScalpMicro!

Not trying to hate on SMP at all, I actually think good work can look amazing. I’m actually on the fence about getting it done myself. But I keep wondering about the long-term side of this treatment, especially 5–10+ years down the line.
A few things I don’t see discussed enough:
For people who started SMP 5/6/7/8–10 years ago: how is it actually aging in real life?
Especially under harsh lighting, close distance, or with continued hair loss.
I feel like most SMP content online focuses on the first 6 months after treatment, not the decade-long reality.
Again, not trying to attack SMP, I’m genuinely considering it myself, but I’d really like to hear honest long-term experiences from people who’ve lived with it for years.
Or is the general public aware of SMP now?
This guy is somewhat of a popular food reviewer and always wears hats. This time, he exposes his head and people are making fun of him in the comments because he has SMP.

Thing is, to me, it does not look bad or unnatural, but I believe because he has never shown his head before, people will automatically fixate on his hair and notice it isn't really natural.
Or maybe it is the lighting?
Hi, looking if opinions on if this looks good, if it needs more work, what work it needs, and if I should have someone else work on it etc. don’t know much about smp so I’m not sure about these things
Hey guys as you can see I think I got seborrheic dermatitis after my first session 4-5 days post it
I’m kind of afraid session 2 can’t be made in this condition
(I wasn’t were I got it until now )
Any ideas what to do
Thanks in advance
With SMP you still have to shave often anyway, so why not pay an extra 1,000 and just get a hair transplant?
SESSION 2 OF 3 • DENSITY & BALANCING PHASE
Client traveled from Ottawa after extensive research looking for a natural reconstruction of his receded hairline along with density enhancement through the top and thinning crown.
Age: Late 30s
Included in this post:
• Before photos
• Session 1 foundation photos (last 2 photos)
• Fresh Session 2 results
• Macro closeups
• Frontal and rear perspectives
• Multiple lighting environments
One of the biggest mistakes in SMP is artists forcing too much density too early, implanting at inconsistent depths, using the wrong pigment dilution, and failing to properly read how the skin retains pigment between sessions.
This case required a very controlled layering approach.
The goal was not to make the scalp look dark.
The goal was to create realism, balance, softness, and proper transition work that will continue evolving naturally through the final session.
Session 1 was intentionally conservative and focused on building the foundation:
• Hairline structure
• Flow
• Implantation pattern
• Density direction
• Crown mapping
• Skin retention analysis
Session 2 focused on carefully increasing density while maintaining realism and uniformity across all zones of the scalp.
Cases like this are built by constantly adapting to how the skin responds after healing, not by forcing saturation into the scalp in one sitting.
The macro photos are important.
This is where impression size, spacing, softness, and transition work become fully exposed. Proper scalp micropigmentation should hold up under close inspection and different lighting conditions, not just from a distance or under dark ambient lighting.
Fresh impressions will always appear darker immediately after treatment and will soften naturally during the healing process as the pigment settles into the skin.
No filters.
No AI enhancement.
No misleading sharpening or contrast manipulation.

I know everyone says to use anti shine products but I sweat a lot and live in a humid climate. How obvious or how bad does smp look on shiny/sweaty heads?
Does this look natural? How deep is that? And in how many sessions can this be achieved?
I started SMP 11/2024. Had 4 sessions initially, and was very happy with results. Last year I scraped my head on a pool bottom and caused a bald patch. Don’t bother me too much, but figured I’d get it fixed. I think my guy does a great job, but it always seems a bit darker than I like for a few weeks post session. Overall I’m very pleased, don’t think I’ll need another session for several years.
I went for a density fill. these are the right after the first session and then a week later. thanks for the feedback.
I’ve had a growing number of people asking me to make an appearance in California, so I’m considering opening a limited number of appointments.
If you’ve been searching for premium, detail-oriented SMP with natural, undetectable results, this is your chance.

I feel I would be more concerned about my appearance if I got the tattoo. Wondering if people could notice it or having to shave on a more strict schedule just to make sure people won't be able to tell.
Doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose of it all?
Hey y'all. Do I need to shave to skin or does this look ok? This is a day after the 3rd session, with 2 days of growth from a 'no guard' shave. I'm also wondering if i need a 4th session to go darker?
