Why are there no new industries in our town?

Especially in the white-collar IT and Manufacturing sectors, the BJP has been in power for almost 12 years in the centre and for almost 10 years in the states. Given so much political leverage if we can't get anything in this tenure, what do we expect from the future?

I see so much investment going into Gujarat even in their Tier-II cities. Why not us?

I would be happy even if there were an initiative to open a large IT company or a manufacturing plant, as it could have laid the foundation for the future, but nothing looks affirmative in this direction as of now.

BHEL and BLW are the only large-scale plants that were set up decades ago but nothing has happened after that.
