CEO and VP of MVM (tl;dr: over 1.2 billion in ICE contracts last year, including 400 million to detain and deport unaccompanied minors) bought the abandoned townhouse at 149 Columbus Heights. They also bought a property in GP. How do we make it clear to them that they are not welcome in our neighborhood? They’re the third biggest ICE contractor in the country (the first two are private prisons), they don’t belong in our neighborhood or even our borough. Ideas? Any community organizers in the chat?

The CEO and VP of MVM (tl;dr: 1.1 billion in ICE contracts last year, 400 million of which was specifically used to detain and deport unaccompanied minors) just bought 96 Franklin. How do we get them out? How do we make our neighborhood inhospitable for them? They are the third biggest ICE contractor in the country (first two are private prisons)—they don’t get to move into our little immigrant neighborhood with their dirty money. Ideas? Any community organizers in the chat?
