The Reality Augmentation Node for Chronology, Holospace and Ontology Regulation

After barely surviving very close call with a reality warper, a being capable of twisting reality itself to its will (Remember, this does not mean they are omniscient and can be outsmarted), The protagonist realizes that relying on intelligence and clever planning alone isn't a sustainable strategy. If he messed up once during that ordeal, he would have certainly been erased from existence.

Determined to find a countermeasure for a high tier existence manipulators, he conceptualizes and creates the Reality Augmentation Node for Chronology, Holospace and Ontology Regulation, or Reality A.N.C.H.O.R**™,** heavily inspired by the SCP Mythos.

Instead of being traditionally being 1 object that stabilizes reality around its vicinity, each Augmentation Node synchronizes itself with the user's consciousness. Multiple Nodes are deployed to establish a bounded geometric framework, with each Node acting as a vertex of the field. Once the framework is complete, it creates a localized domain in which the user has authority over all phenomena governed by Chronology, Holospace, and Ontology.

Obviously, even if the field is localized, this device extremely overpowered, and if unregulated, could remove stakes from almost every challenge.

Drawbacks

Each node has to be placed outside the Augmentation Field. This means the Protagonist has to be careful in where he places them. They can be stolen, broken, or meaded with by outside forces.

Different configurations prioritize a different governance. A pyramid is the most basic form in 3 dimensional space. It requires the least amount of nodes and is the weakest. It has no affinity.

However a star polyhedron is leagues stronger and has an affinity toward ontological manipulation, but requires far more nodes and preparation.

Ontological Inertia

Reality acts like mass, and mass has both Inertia and follows Newtons 3rd law. Its very hard to near impossible to erase a high tier reality warper because there are so many reference frames confirm its existence. Its much easier however, to delete a rat from existence, as the influence it has on reality is slim to none. This makes it so time becomes a sort of shield. The more you do, the harder it is to erase you.

To add something, you must take order from the outside. If you want to erase a law, you must produce disorder as a by-product.

If he messed up once during that ordeal, he would have certainly been erased from existence.

Determined to find a countermeasure for a high tier existence manipulators found all over the infinite multiverse, he conceptualizes and creates the Reality Augmentation Node for Chronology, Holospace and Ontology Regulation, or Reality A.N.C.H.O.R**™,** heavily inspired by the SCP Mythos.

Instead of being traditionally being 1 object that stabilizes reality around its vicinity, each Augmentation Node synchronizes itself with the user's consciousness. Different configurations prioritize different governing law. A pyramid is the most basic form in 3 dimensional space. It requires the least amount of nodes and is the weakest. It has no affinity.

However a star polyhedron is leagues stronger and has an affinity toward ontological manipulation, but requires far more nodes and preptime.

Reality acts like mass, and mass has both Inertia and has an opposite reaction when interacted with. Its much harder to erase a high tier reality warper because there are so many reference frames that point to its existence. Its much easier however, to delete a rat from existence.

To add a law, you must take order from the outside. If you want to erase a law, you must produce chaos as a byproduct.

This is what I came up with, but if you have any other drawbacks, limitations, or situations that keep things interesting please let me know.

THAT'S ALL FREAKS! (Jax's Mindscape Theory)

Everything in brackets isn't 100% relevant to the theory, just things I found interesting. This way you don't have to read everything if you're too lazy too (not judging).

Everyone's talking about how the different rooms represent how Jax thinks he'd react to the members abstracting, but I think were missing how each personality mirrors how Jax describes circus members archetypes. Let me explain.

In episode 6, we see Jax tell Pomni how he sees all of them as archetypes.

  • Ragatha's the cheerful one,
  • Gangle's the sad one,
  • Kinger's the crazy one,
  • Zooble's the grumpy one,
  • And Pomni's the one who "hasn't figured it out yet".

For Ragatha's door, the parallel is pretty straightforward. Ragatha's the cheerful one, so having lost that, he's become a full on sadist. He's embraced the "the one who causes pain for fun".
(I like how they specifically designed this one to have larger pupils than the rest. We all know by now that Jax's eyes dilating is a sign that he's masking, so this one's probably hiding his feelings harder than any of the others.)

Gangle's door follows this patters as well. Gangle is defined by her vuenerability and her tragedy mask. Now this is a Jax who's comedy mask has completely fused to his face, loosing almost all grip on reality and becoming "the funny one". *

Kinger's the crazy one, so following the pattern, this Jax would be the most sane. I believe this is the one playing the piano in the Jax hangout room. Its interesting how similar this Jax is to Evil Jax, is chained to the piano, not only has the key to the "real Jax" and how he's the only one who willingly gave the key to Pomni. Maybe because its the only facet of Jax's psyche that's willing to face reality/ I guarantee this means something, I just cant figure out what. (The look he gave Pomni before disappearing always gives chills)

And finally, Pomni's the one who "hasn't figured it out yet". Many people have observantly pointed out that the room boarded up is most likely Pomni's room, and its heavily locked because he cant bear the thought of Pomni abstracting. While I do think this is true, if following the pattern, this is also the room where Jax "figure's it out". I think you can see where i'm going with this. I believe In this room, Jax comes to terms with his femininity as a trans woman. Jax, or at least the masks/personalities he's built for himself cannot stand the thought of this, and refuses to even confront the thought. I'd love to see piano Jax's reaction to fem Jax trying to communicate with Pomni. I doubt it'd be as violent as the others.

Zooble's the only one I have trouble fitting in to this pattern. I genuinely have no idea what to do with this one, but the theory's so consistent I don't think this outright debunks it.

Sorry if this was a little scatter brained, though I tried to stay as on topic as I could with my dumbahh. THATS ALL FREAK'S

*(Rant: Can I rant about how this is my favourite scene in the whole show. I mean the sound design, the shot composition, the animation, the grainy overlay, the out of tune music, the warp in the hallway, the fact its all so far removed from "reality", the LINE DELIVERY. I'm especially obsessed by how he says "I gotta do something about this (O_O)!". It gives me a type of strange chill i've never really felt before. The grainy overlay, the out of tune music, the warp in the hallway, the fact its all so far removed from "reality". I just cant place my finger on the emotion it makes me feel. Its like a mix of nostalgia and something else.)

Tried to make the seamoth but took some artistic liberties

Made it a few years ago and just kinda forgot abt it

It's kinda scuffed but I'm proud of it
