Probably won't get any pity here but figured I'd share for a laugh. Parents bought a 2017 Cayenne brand new in 2017 as a retirement gift to themselves. Always maintained at the dealer including major services (on age alone) and driven 15,800 miles in 9 years. Recently developed classic transfer case failure symptoms.

$5600 later and they have a new transfer case. Outside of (7 year, unlimited mileage) transfer case extended warranty coverage and goodwill claim denied by both dealer and Porsche United States after providing all 9 years of service history.

The laugh is my dad at the service desk said, "I sure hope this one can make it 15,000 miles."
