13 rina not needed, 11 easily possible given overkill, didn't even need ult at the end so 11 ez kill.

i got the control skill only for 3rd stun here meaning i have no stage buff half ofstage, if i get it right at start i do like 40-50% more damage for rest of fight. genius stuff here.

pretty good unit, would recommend to new players over shungus if anyone made correct decision to skip her

latest hotfix buff was quite good tbh

m4 lyc not needed, can reduce some of the standard sig refines i think also? i'm quite busy so not looking to tryhard to drop the standard cost.

sigrid stunner ranking:

norma >> lycaon > dialyn = lighter

Norma is about 17-18% better than lycaon, who is a few percent better than the rest on lighter sig, a bit worse on stoven but he's free.

Rina is extremely competent with m1 & refines into her signature, coming close to Astra m1r0 in neutral environments and near matching in the high dmg% environment of the butcher (also brim atk devalues astra's atk a bit)

M1R0 sunna > M1R0 Astra > M1R5 Rina > M0R1 Zhao > M0R0 Sunna > M0R0 Astra > M0R5 Rina i believe

Sigrid's only non sig options are brim (which works well) & starlight engine, all signature engines either don't work or overcap CR.

Sigrid is still impossible to build

this boss has 0 HP you c an ignore the score.

probs can go down to 2-3 (so can miyabi probs lol)

sigrid needs some more power still to be worth pulling in this patch

sigrid has mega unrealistic drive discs btw, only 36 subs but she can only have 4 CR subs atm before overcap so its just impossible to build this unit 😰

Numbers & Methodology

This is a fairly extensive comparison via testing on beta between Norma & Dialyn. It has been said that Norma has similar meta relevance to Ju Fufu - it's a pretty ridiculous statement, so I thought I'd put out some actually useful information for general playerbase.

For some TLDR:

Norma is good, but struggles into fights where daze needs to be condensed into bursts (thrall, defiler)

Norma is a big upgrade for mDPS Cissia, Orphie, S11 & Hugo.

She is a fairly good upgrade for Pyrois, Billy & Manato.

The rest of the roster is either still preferring phone, not a real crit DPS, or I'm unsure as to what the result will be on live.

This will be updated over time as we get to live, but placing here for now 😄

Runs from me / others in this channel have 7-800 too much flat attack on Norma, this is due to her holding a 30% atk -> sheer force conversion which is then converted back in her core to attack.

Here's the results of testing, above is VR (unaffected as all rendered client-side) below is DA (server sided so affected). As you can see, Norma is incorrectly receiving a sheer force conversion.

In terms of the actual impact I've made a chart here based on my calcs using the norma shill buff to show the gap.

So, not too huge but around 2-5% depending on Norma's damage contribution.

Just sharing to ensure that no misinfo is shared, shouldn't be super noticeable outside of the orphie team, just 2-3% ish.

think im done with this beta, this boss is surprisingly easy for non anomaly teams tho.

norma + cissia is surprisingly strong at higher investment levels into neutral, but against defiler seed should win out, sorry for imperfect gameplay here its like 4h worth of runs and i cba for any more lol

tldr:

atk6 & er6 both good, er6 more comfy but with precise routing atk6 should still outperform. imp6 needs specific conditions to be best (e.g. give another full stun over the other two with good resource sync, would need 5 stuns on most bosses to win out)

Small nerfs, unsure why... but Norma still absolute carry cissia's best stunner. Maybe the next chain dps will explain these nerfs.

explanation in the vid, not the cleanest run, there were a lot cleaner runs at 01 11 but they didn't kill.

Think its illustrative enough, i'm not a lighter or hugo player that much is clear but i think i only lose the 1 stun at the end from misplays. A great run with great subs can probably 57k.

If you're a hugo main, I recommend ignoring Norma's damage contribution ;)

Norma swapping to impact 6 maybe gets 1 more stun but I can't see it outweighing 45% team dps having atk6.

Ok so, she actually REALLY wants her sig. This is probably the biggest disparity in the game to a f2p option....

It's less pronounced when norma does less damage but at least for orphie its pretty much a requirement.

Fun team - 6 cost kill 1st try and it wasn't that clean so think even with 5-10m more hp / nerfs can get it done.

buff here is pretty bad for nicole all the def shred is useless

i think norma = seed now as a cissia support (m2+)

but as a trade off norma's engine is much more relevant now (moreso than dialyn's)

fairly rough run but personally i spend enough time farming windmills on live to do it on beta aswell lol

all the hp's have changed so is rly hard to do version to version comparisons but will come out with some pompey stuff later or a few days with more normal costs (ergo full 01 lol)
