Dog waste removal have a chance at being successful?

Hey Reddit, I don’t come on here often but I had a question about dog waste removal. I’m 23 years old (M) and going back to school while working a part time job, but I would love to increase my income while not messing up my schedule for school or my other job.

Is dog waste removal something easy to get into? I know it sounds like there isn’t much to it but surely there’s gotta be more that people don’t see right? What do I need to start? What’s the best way to get my name out there? How do I charge for the services I will be providing?

Any advice is greatly appreciated! Thank you all in advance

Finally moving forward

I’m finally doing it! I don’t need any advice or anything like that, I just needed somebody to tell that I’m finally joining the army national guard. Never did I ever see this for myself but here we are. I believe in myself and know I will get through this and it’s only the beginning of many great things!

Finding a job in civilian life after AIT for 68P?

How realistic is it to find a job where n your civilian life after completing AIT for 68P? Is there any extra school that would be required in order for you to work outside of the guard within the same field? Any advice is useful thank you!

Anyone go to Meps while being over weight?

Has anyone gone to Meps while being overweight? I’m set to go in a little over 2 weeks and I’m definitely overweight currently sitting at 225lbs 5ft11 as a 23 year old male. My recruiter said that just by looking at me he knows I’ll be fine but I’m honestly not sure. Does that sound right given my height and weight?

Waiting for the right time doesn’t exist to join

Does the right time exist? I’m overthinking the entire process of enlisting even though I know deep down I want to do it and it would greatly benefit me and my family’s life. I’m slightly overweight definitely scared shitless but I’m working on the things I can control such as weight, exercise, and just going for it. I’m tired of the life I live. I want more.

What was your “oh shit” moment during basic?

During basic training what was your oh shit moment? The moment you realized you were really there and everything was real and shit was about to get serious

Is 5ft11 at 220lbs able to join?

I’m a 23 year old male that’s 5ft11 and about 220lbs. Does this weight disqualify me from being able to join? I’m willing to lose all the weight necessary but just need some advice to know if I should do that before going to speak with a recruiter or if I’m just wasting my time and should go speak with one ASAP. Thank you

Part of basic you thought would be the worst but wasn’t that bad?

What part of basic training did you think was gonna be horrible he in all reality really wasn’t all that bad? The drill sergeants? The handling of weapons? The lack of sleep? Why did you originally think it would suck and why didn’t it suck as bad as you thought?

Worried about Basic

I’m ( M 23 ) very worried about basic training. I can get past the yelling mentally and things such as that but where I fear I’m going to struggle is all the physical stuff. I’m definitely not in the best shape of my life and suck at most of then physical things minus running. How can I get the best prepared? Thank you.

What phase/Week did you realize Basic isn’t impossible/Terrifying if ever?

When did you realize that basic wasn’t important to complete or that it wasn’t as nerve racking as you might have thought it would be? When did the nerves go away?

Best MOS for high pay on civilian side?

What’s the best MOS someone can choose nowadays that can provide a decently well paying job almost right out of AIT?

Tell me the good, bad and ugly about basic training

How well does the army actually train you for your job?

How well does the army national guard train you for the MOS that you select? Once complete with AIT would one feel confident in what is it their doing? Or would you still feel lost and uncertain of almost everything that it is you are doing?

Living on base

Hey everyone! I’m 22 years old and recently got married to my girlfriend (now wife) and we have a 2 year old daughter together. I know I started young.

Anyways I want a better life for them and I strive for an education and a good career in the future. What’s living on an Air Force base like? Joining seems like it would give me a massive advantage everywhere I want in my personal life, but I would never take my family someplace that won’t be good for them. Any answers/advice/guidance is appreciated, thank you!

Dispatcher to get foot in door worth it?

Hey everyone! I’m 23 years old and currently going to college for criminal Justice. I’m located in North Jersey and I’m wanting to know if going for a dispatcher job is a good way to get my foot in the door to potentially becoming an officer.

I know the obvious answer may be yes but I just wanted some feedback to see if maybe there are better options or if this one is worth taking. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks in advance.
