Any thoughts on the actual design/layout?

Hello! I'm new here, I know, it's going to be tough....

I'm Nekoniyah and making my own TCG in my own worldbuilding called Empyra, the TCG is called Beastborn(or Beastborn TCG). I wonder if you could tell me if there are something wrong about the design/the layout, or even the context below...

Also for more context:

The mechanics are inspired by Yu-Gi-Oh, rulings/texts both Yu-Gi-Oh and MTG, but I still wanted to put my own likings in there, like a rank system instead of rarity and levels. And uh there is no mana, however it can be a great independant mechanics for stuff like mages.

Ranks from strongest to weakest are: S > A > B > C > D

There are four types, the cards you see are "Celestial": Erudite, Celestial, Sylvester and Shadows. Each type has influence on the mechanics it brings (it's tied to species in Empyra).

Also there are the "Totem" mechanics that is meant to be an equivalent equipments/auras like in MTG (but it's very different in a lore point of view and mechanically too), but for now they are just doing permanent effects (I have no visual example sowy).

PackItems - Spigot Custom Item & Action Manager

PackItems is a plugin for 1.21+ Spigot Servers where the main goal is to be able to create custom items with custom textures, for free. This is experimental, the first goal is to make the item creation feature-rich first, and we'll talk about particles, GUIs, etc later.

Like TextAPI, it's a plugin made by https://github.com/thenolle, not me. I'm their friend who help them making showcases of their plugins :3

It is OpenSource and free: https://github.com/thenolle/packitems (Soon on Modrinth!)

TextAPI ⬩ An High-Performance Text Formatting and Parsing System for Spigot 1.21+ Servers

Hai, I'm Nekoniyah and will present to you a friend's plugin, they are not on any socials (except Github and Discord) so I'll do it myself here.

TextAPI is a working Text Formatting & Parsing System for Spigot 1.21+ servers and available on Modrinth. Coded in Kotlin (Java) by TheNolle (my friend :3). Expect not finding on Modrinth, it's getting validated. I'll update or send a comment to the Modrinth page when it's done.

https://preview.redd.it/946pavc7de8h1.png?width=664&format=png&auto=webp&s=b8dc7d38a78f6d8a156b47e9635b16eee1999c03

TextAPI is 2-in-1, it's like PlaceholderAPI and Mini-Message (from Paper) but doesn't use them: the same features are coded from scratch, so no need to have them on your server.

You also can use custom colors with hex codes.

TextAPI can also be called in Java and Kotlin plugins (requiring to have TextAPI too on your server). Here are examples of a work in progress plugin called PackItems (ItemsAdder but free):

Also it's OpenSource: https://github.com/thenolle/textapi

Advice on how to start in Indie Animation when you are not an Animator at all?

Hello everyone!

Recently I watched a Youtube series called "MAU MAKAN APA?" by Labirhin, and it really shook me and I asked a lot of question about myself and what I really want to make. I really liked this series, not only because of the world honestly, but because it has a soul, a unique animating style and a simple "context", it is simple but so much efficient... And it made me cry because I can't be at this level of concrete creativity.

I really want to say to the members of this subreddits, especially writers and animators: keep doing your work, you are amazing. If you kept working on your skills, it's amazing, you are surely becoming good at you skills!

What I actually do in life, it's... a bit complicated, I have no job right now and am 19 years old. (french lol), I'm a furry, anime enthousiast and I do have skills in programming, worldbuilding, conlang, graphic design (not so good ...).

The sad part, is that I ALWAYS wanted to tell stories, but never had the tools and/or the courage to make that myself. I have a really deep will and need to make it, but it never comes out.... I already wrote stories since I was maybe 12 y.o, but never finished them.

While writing this, just after the last sentence, I just remembered that I had so much project, and maybe it was the cause of all of that... the problem is, that if I can't write a full novel alone, I can't prove myself, and never get out of this.

I always wanted to draw, same thing, but worse, I'm just bad, and it doesn't get out of my head. You know, years after years, I got more and more demanding, hard to please....

I have friends who told me to keep up on 1-2 projects, not more. Watching "MAU MAKAN APA?" questioned me and woke me up a bit about "I should really listen to them".

I really need support too... Without support, idk... I have no reason to make stuff, yeah I want to make stuff for me, but I can't get further without support.

My question is finally: What are your advices to start making series, or maybe firstly your advices to start working on my writing skills? And do some people and/or studios like GLITCH accept project pitches?
