So it appears that the old North Street Co-op site is now a construction site again... anyone know what's going to be going in there?

If I'm traveling with my bike using an Interrail ticket in Belgium, do I need to purchase a bike ticket? And if so, how do I do this without buying a normal ticket as well?

This would actually be a very useful guide for all countries, apologies if it already exists and I've not been able to find it.

This may well be a well-known scam, but I wanted to report an incident that happened to me yesterday arriving at the Gare du Nord.

I'd got an Uber from Austerlitz with my packaged up mountain bike and a blue IKEA bag with all the cycle luggage in it, AND a backpack. So I'm definitely heavily laden with both hands full.

After getting to the GdN side of the pedestrian crossing, a woman came up to me with a child strapped to her front, with bags and a huge wheeled suitcase, asking and gesturing for me to help her cross the road. I apologised that my French is very poor, but she was insistent. I also noticed that she kept glancing behind me, so I turned and noticed a guy very definitely looking at us. It was at that point I realised this was probably a robbery scam, so, with both hands still full, I shrugged with a 'désolé' and moved on.

This was a new one on me, and I thought it might help someone avoid getting robbed.
