Genderfluid and plural, or just plural?

Hello friends!

I'm Nen (he/him). About a year ago I was surprised when I found out I wasn't alone in my head, and Vivian (she/her) was born as a "headmate". I've considered myself genderfluid ever since, because I flow between being a man and a woman and in-between. But lately I've been kind of wondering if that label fits or not, because I'm a plural system of two people. So like, in my understanding, genderfluidity means your gender changes over time for a wide variety of reasons, but is my gender really flowing, or is it more like, "when Nen is fronting, we're a man because Nen is a man" and "when Vivian is fronting, we're a woman because Vivian is a woman" and whenever it's slightly in between, it's because neither of us are quite fully in control?

Maybe I'll keep identifying as genderfluid for the sake of explaining my situation easily to other people, but I'm curious people's opinions on this, if two different gendered minds occupying a body makes that body genderfluid or not?

Concerned cat-person dogsitting a shy puppers

Hello! I'm dogsitting over the weekend. Barnie is a very shy dog it seems (I think his owners said he wasn't cared for the best before they got him?) So far he hasn't come out of his crate. From a quick internet search, it seems like the best way to get him to warm up to me enough to take him outside to pee and such is to just leave him be for the most part? I got here about 90 minutes ago, opened his crate door, filled his food/ water and have been sitting on the couch in another room waiting for him. Any advice? Am I doing the right thing? I'd rather he didn't use the crate as a bathroom but I think if I tried to leash him to go outside that wouldn't be great. I guess it's not the end of the world if I have to clean up dog mess.

Sincerely, a confused cat owner who accidentally got volunteered to watch a scared dog.

First time finish, what a journey

I'm late to the party! I had like, heard of this show before, but never really knew anything about it. I just stayed up all night watching episodes 20-26 and the End of Evangelion, and, wow.

First off, I am very confused 😆 but I've read a few explanations of the overall plot now that I'm finished and things click into place a little bit. I think it didn't help that the dub I watched didn't have the on-screen Japanese text translated to English, so like, in 25/26, there was a looot of on screen text that I couldn't read, it seemed like the characters were arguing with the text, like maybe the text was their intrusive thoughts? I dunno, I just feel like maybe I would be less confided if I could read some of those messages.

One more thing that confused me: Did Misoto kill Kaji?? His role in everything confused me. Like he was a spy. Uncovering Nerv's secrets? But also on Misoto's side? But then she like, coerced him to tell her everything, but then she shoots him? At least I think she does, it cuts away at the gunshot, but golly it sure seems like she shot him for some reason.

Anyways, wow what a show. Trippy as all get out ending. Had me enthralled and stupefied the whole time.

Narnia: Santa Clause is a Worldhopper?

I have a new musing:

In "The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe", the protagonists run into Santa Clause, who arms them with wondrous items and signals the end of Winter's reign. So, in the canon of Narnia, Santa Claus definitely exists.

Is this Santa the same being as the Santa of Earth? That is, does the same Santa deliver toys and gifts to both the people of Narnia *and* Earth? Santa Clause the worldhopper? Or does each world have its own Santa Clause?

And my favorite part of this question: if Santa is a worldhopper, and is the same Santa from Earth, could he have perhaps equipped the children with Earth gear? "For you, Peter, I give you the Remington .30 caliber Rifle. Aim true, my boy. Susan, use this box of hand grenades well"
