Unlike reported previously, Chikyu Taisen 2053 isn't just a one shot, it will actually be a serialized manga starting later in the year.

New Go Nagai manga which features reimagined versions of Mazinger and other Dynamic pro series facing giant mechanical demons led by Maoh Dante in a Violence Jack sequel. This version of Mazinger has a big twist from the start in that Dr.Hell is just a nickname for "Yuzo Kabuto" (all the Mazinger characters are slightly renamed), with the two halves of Baron Ashura not being stitched together and working as his assistants. "Koichi" Kabuto and "Saori" Yumi are adults and army members here too.

Violence Jack had already included Mazinger character references, but this time we have more straight forward versions with the actual super robots.

The new Higurashi series still uses the Gou era logo.

It's actually the very same logo used before the reveal of the "Gou" title, afterwards, it was slightly modified to add the "Gou"kanji and recolored versions of the Gou logo were used for Sotsu, the manga Meguri and the mobile game Mei.

Unrelated manga like Higurashi Rei(wa) and Oni didn't use any variations of these logos.

Higurashi anime 20th Anniversary Special Stream announced - June 21, 20:30 JST

It will feature Sōichirō Hoshi (Keiichi Maebara's VA) and Mai Nakahara (Rena Ryugu's VA). This is also accompanied by free streaming of the first two seasons of the Deen anime for Japan.
