I’m starting university in September, im 19 almost 20, and I’m really keen to keep progressing alongside it rather than just staying comfortable in my current role at sainsburys so I’m considering applying for a Customer & Experience Manager position at another store that’s around an hour from my university, as I think it could be a great opportunity to challenge myself, take on more responsibility and progress within Sainsbury’s. I’m just looking for some advice from anyone who has experience in the role — how manageable do you find the workload, and what are the hours like? I’d also really appreciate hearing from anyone who has made a similar jump into management relatively early on and whether you think it’s worth going for.
