I want to know how they train a spy to be indistinguishable from native in multiple languages in just a couple of years! Maybe it’s just Hollywood talking but I feel like they have some kind of intensive immersion training
As a brand new beginner in French, I have been trying to expose myself to French native content, tv shows, news broadcasts etc, but I recently discovered that customizing my subtitles in streaming apps to show French text over shows I’m already familiar with makes it much easier to ignore the audio and just absorb the context while reading the French. I recognize words frequently and occasionally type something into google translate to confirm my guess. I then write the words and phrases I discover in my language notebook so I can review later. It’s been really successful so far
Set up emudeck on my old SteamOS Z1 extreme. Results are pretty good. Still need to source some more roms, but got a bunch of libraries working great
For Context I have both the Z1 extreme Ally and the (white) Xbox ROG. I’m looking for recommendations on ps3 era games available for purchase on pc without emulation. I have played Tomb Raider DE, Enslaved Odyssey to the West, Remember Me, and Final Fantasy 13 and they all run flawlessly with excellent battery life. I’m looking for more games that are surefire 60fps+ experiences on the Xbox ROG with similar vibes. No, flight sim runs like crap lol
