Ok so, im a first year student, got no idea what’s going on, and I got my OSAP forms mailed to me in August and I sent them back out on the 18th.

(I know that’s late but having to navigate stuff like this, and get things signed with my family is the equivalent to pulling teeth out. I was also having to get stuff signed for proof of disability from my doctor too which took longer than needed).

However, I don’t know when the money will get to me and it’s causing me to freak out a little with paying my tuition fee on time. I have already emailed the financial aid office about it but i’m still really stressed
over it, what can I do??

Hey everyone I’d like to meet people in my classes. I’m a fourth year and feel like I barely know anyone lol. Here’s what I am taking:

Fall: History of Crime in England, World History to 1800, Law & Indigenous Peoples

Winter: Forensic Anthropology, Collapse of Complex Societies, Biological & Demographic Methods 2, Math Tools for Crim Investigations, History of Crime in England Cont.

I am in my 5th year, changed my major last year and Im in a reduced course load. I cannot attend this year due to financial constraints. Im feeling useless, and mostly like a failure. Does anyone have any tips to combat this? Because at this point im even unsure if ill be able to re attend.

Also, would love to make new friends around my age! Im 23.

I’m a first year coming from toronto looking for a shared apartment with other roommates + a parking (i can pay extra for this). I am a 20F and i don’t know anyone at trent, so I hope I could make some new friends so we can maybe drive to school together!

Some of the events have a location listed, like the specific college welcomes
(I'm at Lady Eaton). But then other events just say "Hosted by:" followed by the event hosts but no location.

Does anyone know where these events are actually held?

long story short housing has become a bit of an issue.... and i was wonder what classes i could get away with without actually being in classes and just coming for labs / exams....

again, not like i'm actively trying to AVOID going to class but i'd like to avoid paying the last minute of living on the premises, and preferably people with experience taking these classes.

if i must i will commute the few hours it will take to get there, but i'd like to know if it's possible to get away with not coming in and just studying from home.

I submitted my photo for my student card and activated it on the app. It removed the background of the image and then shrinks down the image that my face is squished down. Am I the only one experiencing this? Is this normal?

So I wanna apply to med school and I have couple of undergrad program in mind which are:

-Biochemistry and Molecular Biology

-Biology

-Biomedical Science

-Health

-Kinesiology (Honours)

-Psychology (BSc)

1)I'd love to hear from current students about workload, professors, social life, co-op, research opportunities, etc.

2)How difficult are exams?

3)How competitive are grades and GPA? As this is very important for Med school.

4)How hard is research to get? Co-op, internship?

5. Which program good preparation for med school? Any other program with strong med school pipeline?

6. What do you love or hate?

7. And finally after this experience will you still choose Trent University and the program you are in?

Hello. So I am going to another country before Canada. Should I be worried about my account not working because my local sim won't work in that place? Will this affect authenticator? When this happened in my recent university I changed the number on authenticator. If I need to do this who should I contact? Thank you!
