Favorite voices

I'm curious to see what others consider their favorite character voices and why

Mine:

Kylie - Freddy Carolina from Vegas Performers. The puppet said that.

Jeremy - Barbara Ann Delite from The Look. He really captures the old lady voice so well

Angela - Sadie from the YouTube Talk Show Hosts episodes. It's just so endearing

Patrick - Lady Lavender from Hollywood's Greatest Muses. It just matches the character's vibes

Best birthday gift for a Starkid fan/Lauren Lopez fan?

My wife's birthday is coming up (next month), and like me she's a huge Starkid fan. Her favorite Starkid cast member is Lauren Lopez, favorite shows are Black Friday and Cinderella's Castle. I've been trying to come up with a good gift for her that incorporates all that but I'm out of ideas. I'm not the most creative person out there and I'm not very good at drawing so I unfortunately can't whip up a nice fanart or something for her (nor can I afford a commissioned piece right now). She's the artist between us. I've also given her a lot of Starkid merch over the years (sweaters, a chibi Wiggly, etc).

Anyone have any ideas that's budget-friendly? 😅

My one problem with the "Return of TGWDLM" documentary...

I want more! Lol sorry for the click-baity title. But seriously, props to Curt Mega and everyone involved in its making. It's such a great behind the scenes look at how the TGWDLM:R cast and crew made the production happen. I really appreciated that they interviewed a variety of people in the crew. As viewers of the shows, we don't always see all the work that goes on behind the scenes, so seeing and hearing both cast and crew talk about their work is fantastic. SO many are involved in making it all happen. I highly recommend watching the documentary if you're able to get it (it's part of one of the pro-shot downloads). There is also some footage of the understudy performances, if anyone's curious to see that.

Wished for Starkid parodies?

What media would you have liked to see Starkid parody if they were still in their parody era?

I recently watched the entire Twilight series for the first time and for some reason really enjoyed it (I know, I'm shocked too) so I would have loved to see StarKid's take on glittery vampires and all the ridiculous things that happen in that series.

I also would be interested to see how they'd parody the MCU.

Shows you wish could be licensed

My wishlist:

  • Black Friday. Since TGWDLM and NPMD are both available, I think it would be cool to have BF be licensable as well. It'd be interesting to see other theatre troupes' take on this show.
  • Holy Musical B@man. It's just so campy and fun. I can imagine this being fun to put on as a college theatre troupe
