Mill-Cabinet in Chicago

Hey everyone, I'll be joining a Mill-Cabinet apprenticeship soon in the Chicago area and wanted to know what the journeyman salary was with a union contractor. I heard they get paid less than commercial carpentry (framing, concrete form, etc) but haven't found any proof of that. Also, does anyone know if the pre-apprenticeship is paid or not? I heard somewhere that they are sometimes offered a stipend during the pre-apprenticeship but I'm not sure. I wanted to know this info for budgeting purposes. Thanks in advance!

Porsche 962 Living Legend

Hello everyone! I had already posted this concept I made but I made some design revisions and have finally wrapped up this personal project of mine after over 8 months of on and off work lol. I really wanted to celebrate the legacy of the 962C with this concept and create a video for it as best I could with my skillset. Everything you see is real imagery (images of the 962C), real sounds clips, and CGI work. The sound clips were sourced from a 962C onboard video and the new car has a conceptual V10 resembling the sound of the Carrera GT, so I sourced those sounds and they are original as well. No AI was used for this except for the voice. And yes, the corner that is used in this video is the Karussel at the Nurburgring. Please feel free to ask any questions or leave any comments. Cheers!

Building a Home in the suburban Chicagoland area

Hey everyone, I'm looking to build a home in the next couple of years in the suburban Chicagoland area. I want to know what the approximate price is to build per sq. ft. I've been seeing price ranges from around $150 per sq ft all the way up to $550. I've contacted builders and I feel like they have pretty steep quotes or maybe that's just the market right now. I still haven't settled on a style but I am between three different ones at the moment. Excluding land price, what would the ball park price be for these examples I show y'all here? First one is a cottage style house with 1300 sq ft. Second one is a modern style house with 1700 sq ft. Third one is a craftsman style home with 1800 sq ft. I don't want exact prices, just a ballpark to the nearest $50,000. Thanks in advance!
