A few of us are gonna brave the heat and have another casual queer meetup on Tuesday, 18 August.

We've been doing these through Reddit and the /r/york Discord since February and have ended up with a nice lil group of around 4 to 6 people and pretty mixed in terms of age, sexuality, gender expression.

Nothing particularly organised, we're just gonna sit around and have a drink & chat. If you'd like to come along and chill with some queer nerds, you're very welcome!

When: 19:00, Tuesday 18 August

Where: City Screen Picturehouse Café, probably outside on the balcony if it's bearable, otherwise on the sofas or at one of the tables towards the back. We'll have a fluffy rabbit on the table so you can find us.

Larry Sanger, one of Wikipedia’s co-founders, has been indefinitely blocked from editing English Wikipedia following a huge ANI discussion Possible off-wiki canvassing by User:Larry Sanger.

TLDR: allegations of off-Wikipedia canvassing connected to his proposed WikiProject Intellectual Diversity, after he posted it to his 90k followers on X, and gave an interview to a CNN podcast encouraging millions Hindu-nationalists to edit Wikipedia.

Sanger has been part of a wider conservative campaign against Wikipedia for the last decade.

The LibreLinkUp app recently updated to version 5.0.0 with a "fresh" look with new UI.

Since then I have not received any alarm notifications from the app, despite them working perfectly on previous versions. I've re-installed the app, cleared the data and cache, reset notification settings, made sure all the notifications were set on. Nothing.

There are a flurry of 1* reviews on the Play Store of other users encountering issues.

Has anyone also experienced this and found a fix? Without alarm notifications the app is basically useless.

Enterprise software, incredibly simple.

More like, incredibly complicated with terrible UX.
