Painful broken skin in my butt crack...

30 female, 5ft7 175 lbs

Currently taking 75mg zoloft 300 mg wellbutrin and 4mg prazosin

This has happened to me a few times. I haven't been able to trace a root cause yet. Its painful, broken skin that starts as slight irritation in my butt crack. I normally wear thong underwear but when I get this irritation I cant because it hurts. Thongs are my every day wear and this is so infrequent (maybe 2 or 3x a year) I cant imagine that's the cause. Its slightly itchy, very uncomfortable and as it gets worse it starts to blister. I have tried a and d ointment, thats what I have on it now. I just dont understand why this is happening. If anyone has any insight as to how to prevent it I would be grateful. As of now im just treating it as an open wound (keeping it clean, ointment, and was able to cover it with a bandaid to keep underwear from rubbing)

Memory lapses and dissociation

I have a friend who's partner has a tbi. This person also has extreme ptsd as well as a dissociative disorder. They often end up confused and aggressive in a state that reminds me of a dementia patient. Ive heard a lot about these episodes but I experienced one for the first time and I dont know what to think. My phone rings and its my friend, I answer expecting a friendly hello and instead am met with screaming. Their partner is screaming at the top of their lungs threatening me saying they will off me and all this crazy stuff. They called me multiple names (like say my name is Sarah and they were calling me abby or beth) and then hung up. I called back because I was horribly concerned for my friend because the situation seemed violent. The partner answered again yelling and I hear my friend in the background sounding very scared. Hangs up. They call me again and its my friend this time basically feeding into their delusion, saying "abby, I cant be your friend anymore" (the partner called me abby so my friend also called me abby) and hangs up again. I am so stunned and also so triggered because I have ptsd and men screaming like that is a huge trigger for me. I think I just need support or some other perspective about this because I really dont know how to process this. My friend is normally who I would call to talk to about stuff like this, but they're part of the issue so I cant. They haven't spoken to me since and that was hours ago. These episodes aren't frequent but they happen enough and the partner gets aggressive enough that its a serious concern. And no the answer isn't as cut and dry as "just leave". How do we support this person and try to mitigate the abuse that stems from these dissociative states from their tbi? The partner is a very smart, nice, funny and caring individual when they are their normal self. I have never had an issue with their partner before. Honestly we got along really well and I would have considered us friends. They are sick. How do we cope with this?
