Today, I visited Katong Delicious Chicken Rice as I read about it long ago. Near this stall is Dona Manis Cake Shop which is featured in Channel News Asia. They got 2 items on the menu, white chicken rice set and roasted chicken rice set. Each set cost $7.70. I find that their roast chicken is tender and tasty. Their ginger sauce is just the right strength for my liking. The cucumber below the chicken is tasty due to the sauce. The soup is peppery and the pineapple has a nice balance between sweet and salty.

Today, I start my outing late as I recover from a back pain. I went to Oh Wunder Cafe in the afternoon. It was a crowded lunch time. I ordered a Mentaiko Pasta with Salmon and Hazelnut Cafe Latte with a Honey Bear Madeleine. I find that the Mentaiko Pasta goes well with their salmon. The pasta is cream, egg and tobiko. I find the pasta is smooth and the ingredients are well combined. The drink has a strong hazelnut and coffee taste. The Pasta is $19.00 and the drink is $9.50. Total is $28.50 as there is no service charge.

Whilst visiting Lau Pa Sat on a Sunday afternoon, I was looking for cheap and good food. I was reminded of the Indian shop that sells Naan, the store now is NJ Indian Cuisine. I bought the Naan set for $10.00 and paired it with a Monday Blue drink at Kopi Kiosk for $3.60. I find the Tikka chicken firm, a little spicy and hearty. I find the other dishes not so spicy. The drink is not that sweet and is refreshing.
