Wiping macOS and replacing it with linux

My machine is a 15" MacBook Pro mid-2015, it currently has macOS Sequoia (with OCLP) and windows 11 installed via bootcamp.

Since now I have a new Mac, I want to wipe all macOS and replace it with a linux distribution (Ideally ubuntu or mint), preserving my bootcamp Windows 11, so I could have a native windows + linux machine.

What is the correct procedure to do it? I have installed linux before on windows machines, I'm familiar with deleting and creating partitions for dual booting.

Is it a regular procedure, or do bootcamp and OCLP add extra steps?
