Understanding quick shifters
I currently have a 2022 cfmoto 650nk, been loving the bike but I’ve been interested in some modifications. Ive seen on YouTube and stuff about how quick shifters work but I’m still not quite understanding. It’s looking like you need some linkage between the gear shifter and the transmission so a sensor can seat there so it can transmit the data to the ecu to cut of the power to the bike(like I said, this is what I’m reading online so I could be very wrong lol) but I’m not seeing any from or linkage on my bike. Google was saying there’s a direct mount sensor that can go on without linkage but I’m not understanding how that would work if it’s actually real. All in all I know I can clutchless shift but I’m not a great fan of it bc I’m afraid ima blow the transmission. Any help is always welcome and thanks for reading my post:)
