Needing financial proof advice
Im a MAECI scholarship recipient with a visa interview coming up in two weeks.
Even though I have the scholarship, I still need to provide proof of initial financial means. I'm feeling a bit stressed about my financial documentation and would love some advice.
My Situation:
• Funding: MAECI Scholarship (€10,800 total).
• Savings: ~$6,000 USD total
• Account A (2 months old): Used only to pay my university's first installment. Current balance is zero.
• Account B (6 months old): Has a few transactions and currently holds ~$3,000.
1- Will my relatively new bank accounts raise red flags with the consulate? Should I bring proof of where the funds originated?
2- Is it better to divide the $6k savings evenly between both accounts, or leave the funds as they are?
Any suggestions or experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
