Fire in Homeland

Smoke from The Verona fire, north of Highway 74 and only 2 acres at the moment, may be visible from Menifee. The spread of the fire does not seem to be endangering any structures, but like all fires, the situation is very fluid and things can change quickly. More updates following

▲ 55 r/Dodgers

What started as a ragged game for the Astros, giving up the first three runs on three wild pitches, became a bit of a slugfest. Andy Pages went deep three times today, helping the Dodgers to a 12-2 rout. This bullpen game, made possible by Tyler Glasnow’s second inning departure due to back tightness, went very well, limiting the Astros to 5 hits and striking out 8 on the day. With a day off tomorrow, the Dodgers hope for some momentum from today’s offensive outburst as they travel home to host the league-leading Atlanta Braves.
