Is anyone else weirdly attached to a toxic card everybody else hates?

I know, D-Shifter is a toxic floodgate that should’ve never seen the light of day. And yet, it reminds me of my early MD days where I‘ve build Exosisters, had absolutely no idea wtf I‘m doing and got carried by this absolute monster. This amalgamation of everything wrong in yugioh was always by my side, so I‘m a bit emotional about never being able activate her stupid floodgate ever again (there’s no way this card will be unbanned in any of the formats). RIP Shifter, I hope we‘ll banish half a Tears deck again one day.

Am I the only one to think that the Theme Chronicle is by far the worst event in MD?

I usually love events because they bring a breath of fresh air, especially now since all I‘m seeing in ranked is Branded and KT.

But Theme Chronicle is just whacky to me. Instead of locking me into a certain type of ED summon or different rules, I‘m locked into random, mostly irrelevant archetypes (I know its based on the solo mode, but its still random) nobody really plays. And if its a popular deck, it gets butchered into oblivion by the ban list. I agree that full power Sky Striker would obliterate the event, but it got turned into a completely unreliable blind going second strategy. Although I play over 10 decks from tier 1 to rogue, I now have to learn a completely new deck I will never play again just for a few gems.

What are your opinions on the banlist and available archetypes?

I‘ve seen this for the first time today, how can such a card even exist?

I was going second against heros and I‘ve hit him with a crisp maxx c + fuwa combo. I had like 10 cards in hand and there was no way I would lose the match, but then he made this on my turn.

„If this card is Special Summoned from the Extra Deck: You can activate this effect; for the rest of this turn, your opponent cannot activate cards, also cards your opponent controls cannot activate their effects.Your opponent cannot activate cards or effects in response to this effect's activation.“

What in the actual fuck is this?! For a second I thought he was a hacker summoning a custom card. These are by far the most broken lines I‘ve read in this game. Tf am I even supposed to do? Set and pass? The fact that it also just blows my field in End Phase so that he can just OTK me with Trinity etc is just the icing on the cake.

I really don’t care how bad and bricky heros are, there is no reason for such a card to exist or the ability to make this on my turn. Its the ultimate floodgate with a super poly protection. By far the most disgusting thing I‘ve seen in this game.

Is Garura or Muddragon a better Superpoly target in the current meta?

My ED is super tight right now and I’m not familiar enough with the current meta since I took a long break from the game. I play branded (I know hate me) so I have more than enough targets for the mirrormatch. Every opinion is appreciated!

Would you rather play a royal SR card or its UR alt art

I‘m really struggling on wich one to choose. On one hand, the art on the OG albaz is so much better than the alt art and its so iconic. On the other hand, I feel like the alt art is overall a better flex because it can’t be crafted and it has a animation. Wich one would you play for the one off?
