Bio PhD. No law experience. Need PLI study advice

I am seeking study advice on how to pass the patent bar. I’m a Bio PhD and I’m working full time as a bench scientist. I’ve been studying with the PLI course for two months now and have made it through Chapter 700, but I feel like I've hit a wall. While I am becoming familiar with the terms and topics, the information/detail/exception isn't sticking. Also, the PLI Prime questions after each chapter contain too many concepts that haven't been covered yet, making it really difficult to gauge my actual understanding or know where I stand in terms of passing the exam.

Is it normal for things not to click until you reach the end of the course or the final chapter? Should I keep continuing listening to lectures? Or does this indicate that I need to build a more solid foundation and fully digest Chapters 100–700 before moving on?

I have a PhD in Biology and I’m currently working in a healthcare/bio industry. Currently studying patent bar and I’m enjoying it. Thinking of potentially going to law school to pursue patent law and litigation.

(1) How important is GPA to get into law school when you have a PhD? My undergrad GPA is 3.7 and grad school is 3.4 out of 4.0.

(2) Is graduating from a famous law school important when getting a job at law firm to practice patent litigation?
