Uncharted 4 might genuinely be one of the most beautiful games I’ve ever played

I recently played Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End on PS5 and honestly… I wasn’t expecting to love it THIS much

We always hear about games like The Last of Us Part I & II, Spider-Man, etc. when people talk about the best PlayStation experiences, and deservedly so. But I feel like Uncharted 4 doesn’t get glazed enough 😂
This game is absolutely gorgeous.
The environments, the landscapes, the lighting, the animations… there were so many moments where I just stopped playing for a few seconds to look around. And considering this game originally came out in 2016, that’s insane.
But it’s not just the graphics. It’s genuinely FUN to play. The climbing, gunfights, exploration, set pieces and cinematic moments all flow together so well. It’s linear, but it never really bothered me because the pacing is so good and the environments still give you enough room to explore.
And the cinematics… man. At times it genuinely feels like you’re playing through an adventure movie.

Easy 10/10 for me.

Seriously, how did we beat games before looking everything up online?

Playing Uncharted 2 recently made me realize how differently I play games nowadays.
There was a fight on the train that took me a ridiculous number of attempts. Eventually, I watched a YouTube video, saw what the other player was doing, copied the strategy and moved on.
And it made me think about how normal that has become.
Years ago, I remember playing PS3 games completely offline, without a smartphone sitting next to me. If something took me 20 attempts, I just kept trying. If I didn’t know where to go, I explored until I found it. Somehow, I still finished games.
Nowadays, knowing that Google, YouTube and Reddit are right there makes it way more tempting to look something up after a few failed attempts.
I wonder if games have actually changed, or if **we’ve changed because information is so easily available now.**
Do you think you had more patience with games back then?

Detroit : Become Human

Just finished Detroit: Become Human for the first time.
16 hours. 10/10.
How is this game still so slept on in 2026?
One of the best narrative experiences I’ve ever played.

I will definitely replay in a while to get another story
