Unable to access my CIBC funds abroad as my account has been locked and they have asked me to come into a branch to verify my ID, is there another way of verifying remotely?

I have a bank account with CIBC and I am a dual Canadian-Irish citizen. I recently moved to Ireland and CIBC put a fraud notice on my account which means I cannot access my funds.

I called the fruad department and went through the verification process and they told me the only way to remove the block on the account is to come into the branch? But this means flying back to canada just to do this which seems insane. I am not sure why it got locked in the first place but the idea of flying 16 hours and spending $1-2k just to go into a branch to show my ID is frustrating.

Has anyone else experienced this and found any success any other ways to verify? Can I go to the consulate in dublin or something?

Take-Two Revenue Split

All data is sourced from Take-Two Interactive Software's 10-K SEC filings. This is not financial advice and is for illustrative purposes only.

I've been analysing Take-Two's SEC filings as part of my job and thought you would be interested in my findings.

I know it is sensitive at the moment but as a disclaimer the physical vs digital revenue split contains downloads, in-game purchases, virtual currency, mobile app stores etc.

Graphed using Recharts. I will be looking at some other game companies as part of this project so if you are interested in any in particular let me know

Trying to buy my kid Pokemon cards but they are always sold out everywhere? (Dublin)

So title basically says it all, whats the craic here? My kid has been watching the tv show and wanted to start collecting Pokemon cards, usually he collects football cards so I was happy to get him some.

This is the third weekend going into town and checking toymaster, smyths, easons and forbidden planet and they are constantly sold out.

Do I have to order them online or what is the story with it? Its been pretty disappointing for him but also pretty frustrating for me

Looking for book suggestions for someone new to fantasy. I started with Wheel of time and I am not enjoying it

Title basically says it all. I usually read sci fi and have gone through a tonne of sci fi, but I want to start reading some other genres.

I started with the wheel of time and just finished the second book but I don’t think I will continue. My main issue with it is that I find the characters to be really stupid and lack critical thinking and I find it kind of annoying.

I would prefer something a bit more epic and maybe a bit better paced. I appreciate suggestions as really I do not know a whole lot about the genre

Thanks in advance!

In the hospital with an eye condition and have to stay here for days, audiobook recommendations for good sci fi series?

Hi so the title says it all, I am in the hospital and unfortunately I cannot read or see properly.

So I am looking for recommendations of sci fi series that have really good audiobooks, engaging and good narrator etc.

I have read the classics but would be willing to go back if there is a good audiobook but I am not a regular audiobook listener so hoping for some recommendations.

Thank you in advance
