I live in a desert state, and the temperature has been hovering over 100° lately. I also keep my car parked in my garage.

When I got in my car today, I noticed this message for the very first time:

Auxiliary heating/cooling deactivated:
Auxiliary heating/cooling was not started at programmed departure time in order to protect the battery. Function available again after a short drive.
