Found this odd mustard yellow USA-made 4-pocket Type III with a red tab that has gold lettering. What is this?

I've been having a dang hard time figuring out exactly what this is. It has a red tab with gold lettering, which doesn't seem common at all, I can't really find any information on it. The jacket is a 4-pocket, so it's post 1984, and it's USA-made so it's not modern. The main logo patch is worn almost entirely off so I don't know if it has a batch number or what it is.

Does anyone know what this is? It doesn't look like a dye job, the yellow coloring is even and isn't on any of the tags, but I haven't really been able to find examples of this color of jacket online. The pictures are mostly accurate, but it's a rich, even mustard yellow.
