Trying ADF & Looking for an Accountability Buddy
Hiii! I’m a 25F, 5’7”, currently around 143 lbs, and my goal is to get down to around 130 lbs. I’m trying to lose weight while still feeling strong and maintaining/building some muscle.
I’ve been wanting to try ADF, but I’m definitely struggling with the eating-day part. I can make it through a 36-hour fast, but once I’m finally able to eat, I get SO antsy about food and end up wanting to eat basically everything I have planned for my eating day within like 3 hours 😭. I think part of it is the anticipation of finally being able to eat again.
I’m hoping to find someone who is in a similar boat and wants to keep each other accountable without making it super obsessive or competitive.
I’m pretty active already and walk a lot, and I want to continue incorporating the gym while I work toward my goal. I’m not looking for someone to encourage extreme restriction. I’d much rather have someone who can help me stay consistent and talk me down when I’m getting overly focused on food.
Ideally, we could message each other throughout the day and send little things like “Did you go on your walk yet?” “Gym time!” “How’s your fast going?” or just check in when motivation is low 😂.
My goal is 143 to 130 lbs, but more than anything I want to feel better in my body and build habits I can actually maintain.
If you’re also trying to lose ~10–20 lbs, doing ADF/IF, or just trying to get more consistent with walking and the gym, message me! 🫶
Bonus points if you’re also the type of person who needs someone to tell you to stop thinking about food and go for a walk
