Uk pain relief post surgery

Hi guys.

I had surgery approx 36 hours ago and the pain is really bad. The nerve block has worn off and the 30mg dihydrocodeine helps but only slightly and still painful

I'm getting a call from the gp tomorrow. What pain relief did any from the UK get that actually worked?

I want something stronger than the hospital gave me. What is the strongest they can prescribe here?

Stepped wall render

Hello

I'm about to cement render a 4 meter long stepped wall as shown on the photo using render beads 15mm.

Eventually before winter I'll add coping stones, but for now just render.

I know you need 2 coats of render, but the flat top sections that don't have gravity trying to pull the render away, can I just do one pass /layer to speed things up? The vertical sections I'll do 2 coats.
