cs cleaning shifts

Context I’m a 19yo female who been working at publix since I was 17. I starkly remember when I was hired they told me that cleaning was a responsibility that everyone partakes in if you work in CS. They started training me to clean less than a month after I was hired but I started to notice as the months went by that this is not the case AT ALL. Both my CSM and ACSM have favorites (despite saying they don’t) and pick/choose who they train/scheduled to clean and don’t train/schedule to clean. There have been a multitude of people who have been hired/transferred to the store after me who aren’t even trained to clean but they have me and a cherry picked 5 other people who they make clean all week. I remember on friday’s being in high school and would have to come straight after school and work the 7-10:15 cleaning shift and then 11-3 day cleaning the day after. We even have CS staff cleaning sometimes but they refused to train new people to clean. They will take advantage of new hires and work them to bone and train them to clean but certain people who have been at my store for years/months never even get trained to clean let alone scheduled to do it. When I brought this up to my ACSM he tried to give me a bs answer and say he doesn’t have the hours to train people. Where is the logic in that when you have those same ppl cashiering and bagging every day?????? I don’t have a problem cleaning bc if I did I would just quit, I just heavily dislike the fact that its not a task “everyone” does even though it’s a shared responsibly amongst CS. I guess my question is this common at other stores and what should I do about this bc this shit is fucking ridiculous.
