Cardinal vs Rummynose tetras

What do people usually prefer as a schooling fish? I am torn about which to choose. I really want a true schooling fish that sticks together in a group, but also colourful and bright.

In a lot of videos I’ve watched it seems like cardinals don’t really school tightly, they kind of just hover spaced further apart. I love the tight schooling behaviour that rummynoses do, but am not completely sold on them due to the lack of colour in comparison to the cardinals.

Is it worth trading off colour for schooling behaviour? Or do people have different schooling fish recommendations that maybe tick both boxes?

Anyone else had issues with Roxy Aquarium?

Currently dealing with issues with my online orders from them. Placed 2 orders a week and a half ago and they haven’t been dispatched yet. I have messaged them 6 times with little to no response and called once. Finally got told my order would be shipped yesterday and delivered today, it still hasn’t been dispatched yet.

The customer service is atrocious!! If there were delays with shipping my order I would have completely understood if they contacted me to let me know why.

I’ve tried to be so polite to them but it’s getting to the point where I feel like I’m just being ignored as a customer, it’s just ridiculous. Thank god my order is just a tank + stand and I don’t have any stock waiting to go in it just yet.

Can’t even imagine what it would be like if I’d ordered live fish, never ordering again!

What is your dream stock list for a 22 gallon (84 litre) tank?

Just bought a new 22 gallon 60cm tank and want some inspiration for what to put in there!

If you were building a tank from scratch, what would your dream stock list look like? Bonus points for interesting/unique/underrated community ideas.

Photo is not my tank! Just inspo and to get attention

Stocking ideas for 84 litre (22 gallon) tank

I’m starting to plan for my next tank (approx 22 gallons) and need some ideas of what to stock.

Preferably hardy and not too tricky to keep! I would love a colourful tightly schooling fish, as well as some others. Potentially a centre piece fish/pair and smaller group.

I’ve thought of celestial pearl danios but have heard they can be shy? And I’m super keen on panda corys.

I’d love to hear what people’s “dream” stock plan would be for a tank of this size.

I’ve just built this 25 litre nano tank and need help deciding what to put in it. I am very keen to have cherry shrimp in there, but can’t decide what fish to stock. Most recommendations I’ve seen have been either chilli rasboras (hard to find for sale in Australia) and ember tetras (just not a fan of the orange).

Does anybody have any other recommendations? I am a beginner fish keeper, so want something hardy. Variety of colours or types of fish would also be amazing (but I know is probably limited or not possible in such a small tank)
