Taking the streetcar? You will need to press the button to open the doors
To save the air conditioning system on the streetcars during this heat wave, the TTC has asked its streetcar drivers to not open the doors, but have riders do it themselves. This is to keep the air conditioning units on the streetcars from getting over stressed. This applies to all streetcars, including those on lines 5&6.
