Hi all, I recently picked up 2026 XSE in Canada and loving it so far. There are two concerns that I would like to ask the community here.

1. There is a small green leather exposed on the steering wheel. Attached an image.

2. Even though it’s a week old, I clocked around 1050 km on it. I sometimes see hybrid battery is low and the ICE starts running. I’m averaging about 5.6 L / 100 km overall.

Would Toyota consider this a warranty issue with steering wheel stitching? Is anyone experiencing low hybrid battery when you switch to EV only mode?

There were few mistakes that I made during the exam and I was pointed out once. I passed the exam in the end. Passed both G2 and G with one attempt each. Brampton G2 nd Port Union G

Mistakes:

1. After exiting the school zone, I was a little nervous and slowed down to 33. I was asked to speed up.

3. At one of the major intersections before entering the first highway ramp, I switched lane within the intersection so that it is easy to go into the ramp. Immediately pointed out that it was a big mistake and honestly thought I failed at that point.

Rest of the test went well.
