The 10 minute rule that finally got me consistent after years of being overweight

For years i thought that you needed an hour at the gym for it to count. This thought led to me being very inconsistent in the gym

What changed things was a dumb rule: if I don't have time for a real workout, I do 10 minutes. Just 10. Squats, pushups, a short walk, whatever. No app, no plan, just 10 minutes of something. I'd been reading a couple of beginner eBooks on habits and fat loss around then, and one line stuck with me: motivation gets you started, but it's the boring repeated stuff that actually gets you anywhere.
