Why is it so hard for me to just make female friends?

Honestly, I don't know why this is so difficult for me.

I've had guy friends, but I've never really had a female friend. I think I've been an introvert since the beginning, and there was even a girl I really liked in college, but I couldn't gather the courage to go and talk to her. I don't know why, but I get genuinely scared/nervous when it comes to talking to girls.

Because of this, I've never had a girlfriend or been in a relationship either.

I'm not looking for a relationship right now. I genuinely just want to make a female friend so I can get comfortable talking to girls and hopefully overcome this fear. I'm currently in Berlin for my master's, and honestly, I'd really appreciate some advice from people who have been through something similar.

What should I do? Any tips on how to get over this fear and become more comfortable talking to girls?

And if there's any girl here who'd be willing to just be friends and help me get over this awkwardness, I'd genuinely be very grateful. 😅

I just want to get past this fear once and for all so I can make normal friendships without overthinking everything.

24M | Indian 🇮🇳 | Living in Germany 🇩🇪 | Looking for Something Genuine

24M | Indian 🇮🇳 | Living in Germany 🇩🇪 | Looking for Something Genuine

Hey everyone!

I'm a 24-year-old Indian currently living in Germany(Berlin)as a student. I'm 5'9", and I'd describe myself as easygoing, respectful, and someone who enjoys meaningful conversations more than small talk.

A little about me:

🎮 I enjoy playing video games.

🎵 I love listening to music.

🎬 Big fan of movies and TV series.

☕ I enjoy exploring new cafés.

🌙 Late-night walks are one of my favorite things.

🌊 Sitting by a river and having deep conversations about life, dreams, or even random topics sounds like the perfect evening to me.

I don't smoke, and I only drink occasionally—usually a beer or a drink on special occasions.

I'm looking for someone kind, genuine, and open-minded. Whether it starts as a friendship or turns into something more, I'd like to let things happen naturally without forcing anything.

If you're in Germany (or nearby) and think we'd get along, feel free to send me a message. I'd love to get to know you and see where the conversation goes. 😊

Anyone up for a movie and coffee next Sunday ?

Hey everyone!

I'm 24 M, from India, and recently moved to Berlin. I'm still exploring the city and thought it would be fun to meet some new people.

I'm planning to watch a movie next Sunday (Spider Man Brand new day) (2 August) and maybe grab a coffee or something to eat afterwards. If anyone is interested in joining, feel free to send me a message. It would be nice to meet new people and have a good conversation.

A little about me: I enjoy cafés, football, trying new food, walking around the city, and exploring Berlin. I'm always happy to meet people from different backgrounds.

24M | New to Berlin | Looking to meet new people

Hey everyone!

I'm a 24-year-old Indian who recently moved to Berlin. I'm still getting used to the city and would love to meet new people.

I enjoy grabbing coffee, walking around the city, trying new food, watching football, and exploring different places. If anyone would like to hang out, grab a coffee, visit a museum, or just chat, feel free to send me a message.

I'm also single, but I'm just as happy to make new friends.

Looking forward to meeting some great people!
