Local 7 question

I’ve read some locals only hire a handful of people off of the recruitment list and are actively laying people off. Are people getting laid off in local 7 or is there definitely enough work going around to bring in a lot of new apprentices?

quite the predicament

I have a bit of a complicated one. My girlfriend (24f) and I (24m) have been together for 8 months. I’ve been with/dated a lot of women in my life and can confidently say shes the sweetest, kindest, most thoughtful and loving girl I’ve met and has the most green flags I’ve ever seen, with that being said, I’m also starting to find some reds. One of the biggest green flags is her parents relationship, and the fact that she has stated many times how it’s exactly what she wants for her future. She said she has never seen them argue, they have been together since their 20s and from everything I have perceived, (I practically live with her 4 days a week and am around them constantly), they are completely in love. They’re super affectionate towards eachother and really seem to have “the perfect relationship” her dad isn’t the manliest man, but he seems to have boundaries and doesn’t let his wife walk all over him. Their relationship seems healthy from every metric. From casual jokes and comments I’ve heard, it looks like her mother was promiscuous in her youth, she made a comment/joke about sleeping with an ex boyfriends best friend in highschool and overall gives a “wild” vibe. With that being said, her love and respect for her husband seems to keep her from ever doing anything hurtful to the relationship.

That brings me to my girlfriend, from everything she’s told me and things I’ve picked up on over time, she also has a promiscuous past. I hate to admit that I do as well, but I made a conscious effort to change about a year before this relationship, I expressed this to her and she said she had done the same. After we gave eachother permission to look through our phones, I did (shoot me lol), I learned that in addition to having a few months long situationship (which she told me about), she had also had 4+ hookups (just the ones she texted her friends ab) from various dating apps since her breakup with her ex 2 years ago. I also learned one of the guys was 30 (she told me men above 25 gross her out), and I learned that her count is fairly higher than she had told me. I’m not the kind of guy to loose sleep over my gf having a past, most do at 24, but I’m more concerned about the lack of honesty, and the fact that the promiscuity was occurring recently before us, not “a phase of the past” like she led me to believe. I also understand the embarrassment of not wanting to “tell all” about things of the past. I’m just in a tricky situation trying to determine if her desire to have the “perfect relationship” her parents have will outweigh the desire to “have fun and mess around”. Any advice will be greatly appreciated
