Devils Bakery
The place has some great pastries. And Gaylord is such a cute shopping area. But for anyone there this morning, they must have witnessed something I don’t think I’ve ever seen at a cafe anywhere in Colorado in my 50 years. A kid (maybe 6) is having an absolute breakdown because he can’t have a cinnamon bun. Like screaming and wailing to the point every single person in the place can hear it clearly. This went on for a little over 20 minutes as the fathers child just sat there and did nothing. I have three young children myself and I would immediately remove them from the cafe and take them outside. I also own a small business and I would personally ask the parent to remove themselves and the child from the store if I had this occur. I feel bad for Devils and I feel bad for the employees who probably feel their hands are tied. But there isn’t a chance in hell I will ever spend $5 again on coffee to witness something like this.
And I would have left myself but I was waiting for someone and paid for a drink. I just assumed the parent would be responsible.
