AirPods Pro 3 water resistant

So I tried my AirPods Pro 3 in shower few weeks ago and it worked fine. Then I wore them in pool ( they got submerged with me ofc ) and they worked great! So I did that every time I used to go In pool ( every Wednesday and Sunday) for 3 months and nothing happened. Now I came on a vacation to Goa. My confidence on app3 water resistance 📈. Wore it in resort water slide ( small one not like those in water park ). And wore in for hours I in jacuzzi. Day 1 nothing happened, day 2 nothing happened, day 3 nothing happened, day 4 ig water went in ( in my room when I squeezed / pressed it and water came out from the black thing on top ) . Mic started acting weird ( transparency mode ) volume ramped up. And it started doing weird behavior. Now a day later 4-5 h of drying it I think microphone are kinda a normal now but I think they definitely took a minor hit voices sound slightly more robotic. But sound quality definitely took a hit, when volume is 50% sound quality is good enough but as I go louder idk why but it feels way to harsh. Like highs are way too loud and it sounds slightly muddy + it hurts my ears.

If I take it to apple Genius Bar will they identify it as water damage AirPods and reject replacement ( if they reject free replacement I still do have care + )

But is there any water indicator in AirPods ?

Edit :

Update: they work fine now
