Has anyone had symptoms like this from H. pylori?
I recently tested positive for H. pylori, and I’m wondering if anyone else experienced symptoms beyond the typical stomach issues.
For the past few months, I’ve been dealing with a lot of weird symptoms, including dizziness/off-balance feelings, headaches/head pressure, heart palpitations and random heart-rate spikes, anxiety/panic feelings, brain fog/derealization, fatigue, and just generally not feeling like myself.
I do have GI symptoms too, but they honestly haven’t been the worst part. I’ve had acid reflux, frequent burping, occasional stomach pain/bloating, constipation, and really foul-smelling stools.
I also found out my vitamin D was pretty low. I’ve had a lot of testing done because of the palpitations/dizziness, and so far nothing major has been found, so now I’m wondering how much H. pylori could potentially be contributing.
My doctor prescribed the Voquezna Triple Pak (vonoprazan + amoxicillin + clarithromycin), which I’ll be starting soon.
Has anyone with H. pylori experienced similar symptoms, especially the dizziness, palpitations/HR spikes, anxiety, brain fog, or head pressure? And if you treated the H. pylori, did those symptoms improve afterward?
Would love to hear your experiences with the Voquezna Triple Pak too.
