I'm so relieved-

-ok so I'm a lesbian, and for all these years i thought my parents were homophobic, I came out to them a few years ago, and they were like, uhh, nah it must be a phrase, and I've dodged the topic ever since, Some time later my girlfriend broke up with me (the worst way possible), I was having a rlly hard time and I didn't even have anyone to talk about it, so yeah, and a few months have passed, we got our vacation (yayyyy) and on the first day my mom and I were hanging around in the kitchen when she suddenly asked "how are things with ur gf now?" lemme tell yall, I WAS SURPRISED. then I muttered smth like "ah yeah we broke up" and smhw we had a full on conversation abt my future ( If I'm gonna go abroad and live with a woman) and my interests in girls and stuff, it was rlly shocking bcz the relationship between my mum and me was never good, we would always fight, she has anger issues, I have anger issues, we barely have a normal conversation, let alone smth like this. but after that day I feel like we have gotten closer and i can talk more openly with her, it almost feels like she finally accepted me. :)

Edit: OMG SO MANY SUPPORT IN THE COMMENTS THANK YOUU!! <3
